Valley Vista was designed as a resort-style retirement residence with 139 suites across 6 storeys, and has a perfect blend of studio, one and two bedroom suites. All suites have 9’ ceilings, expansive floor to ceiling windows and lavish finishes. This modern and spacious retirement residence emulates a luxurious hotel with its elegant decor and numerous amenities. Residents can enjoy the Café/Bistro, with adjacent lounge and elegant fireplace, a seating area fully equipped with a big screen television, and dine in the Grand dining room. In addition to a full access to the many amenities, the residents can select and customize the services they use, and enjoy additional care packages if they so choose. Valley Vista offers an independent lifestyle with all of the advantages and conveniences of a retirement residence.

The Location

Rockport identified the 600 Valley Vista Drive site as the ideal location for Retirement living. Located in the City of Vaughan, just south of Major Mackenzie Drive on the east side of Dufferin, it’s nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood, surrounded by a belt of densely vegetated Environmentally protected green space. Valley Vista is close to shopping, health care providers, community centres and public transportation.

Affiliation and Operation

Rockport builds with care, and affiliates itself with operators who are leaders in the industry to deliver the very best services, and highest possible standard of living. Rockport Construction started building in the fall of 2007. It was turned over for operation to Chartwell REIT in the early spring of 2009.
